RGB Lights does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no network connections of any kind.

What the app does not collect

The app has no sign-in, no user profiles, and no server component. It does not gather your name, email address, device identifiers, location, contacts, usage analytics, or crash reports. It contains no advertising and no third-party SDKs. Every framework it uses is supplied by Apple as part of iOS. The app has no networking code at all, so nothing you do in it is sent anywhere, to the developer or to anyone else.

What the app accesses, and why

Bluetooth. The app scans for and connects to your light strip and sends it commands. The connection is directly between your device and the strip.

• Microphone. If you use Phone Mic mode on the Music tab, the app listens to the room so the lights can follow the sound. The audio is analyzed on your device for loudness and frequency, and is discarded immediately. It is never recorded, saved, or transmitted.
• Media library. If you use Song mode on the Music tab, the app reads a song you choose from your own library so the lights can follow its waveform. Songs are read on your device only.
• Photos. If you pick a color from a photo, the image is handled entirely on your device through the system photo picker. The app never gains access to your photo library as a whole.
• Motion. If you turn on Shake for a random color, the app reads the accelerometer to detect a shake. Nothing is stored.

Each of these is optional, is requested only when you first use the feature that needs it, and can be refused or revoked at any time in Settings.

What is stored on your device

The app saves your preferences and the last state of each light strip you have connected (its name, color, brightness, and scene) in the app's own storage on your device.

• This information stays on your device.
• It is never sent anywhere. The app makes no network connections at all.
• The developer has no access to it.

Deleting the app removes this information. You can also clear it from within the app, in Settings under Lights, with Forget All.

Children

RGB Lights is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data whatsoever, it collects no data from children either.

Third parties

There are no third-party services, analytics providers, advertising networks, or data processors involved in this app. No data is sold or shared, because none is collected.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes what it accesses, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top of this page will change.
